Calliope “Callie” Paladino -Johnson is a NYC //LA based actress. Her pronouns are she/they. She was born and raised in Northwest, Arkansas. They are a recent graduate from AMDA College of Performing Arts where they got a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Callie started performing at the age of five, and started taking private lessons shortly afterwards. Some of her favorite roles include “The Chaperone” in The Drowsy Chaperone, “Wednesday” in The Addams Family, and "Sister Amnesia" from Nunsense. Some of her favorite roles she got to dive into in college were: "Elle Woods" in Legally Blonde, "Marilyn Monroe" in an adaptation of Bombshell, and "Carrie White" from Carrie the Musical.  Calliope lives her life in a pink fantasy, you will see her in pink everyday! They are truly Legally Blonde. Calliope has been on tour for the last year with Missoula Childern's Theatre, touring around the US putting on a musical on in a week. They have taught ages k-12 all over in shows such as Cinderella and Gulliver's Travels in Space. They were able to direct but also perform in the show world wide. Calliope is very grateful for their time with Missoula.

 

Calliope is always eager to work on new projects and try something new! Through every trial in her life, performing has always been her outlet. As a Leo, they are very passionate about Theater and enjoys cultivating new relationships that are artistically or creatively inspired. In her free time, Calliope loves to arrange floral arrangements, play the ukulele, study astrology, cook, and play with her cat Loki!
